Was inaugurated in December 1999 in a building located in the island since 1884, formerly property of a British shipping company.

Placed just 4 km away from the city center, near a shopping center and an aquarium and only five minutes away from the beach. With a beautiful fountain just at it entrance where you can sit next to and enjoy the sun and peace of the place it’s truly one of the most privileged places of the island.

Its space is distributed over four floors with interactives exhibits, temporary expo areas, 3D cinema, planetary, and much more.

This set of rooms and activities shows that the museum is more than an exhibition center, turning it into an alternative meeting point, a place to promote and interchange knowledge in the scope of the scientific dissemination.
